Rusty cooker doors in brand new house

Purchased a brand newly built house at the end of June. Used the double oven less than a handful of times and noticed rust on the outside of both doors where the metal meets the glass window. Reported it to Taylor Wimpey within approx 10 days of moving in and was told not to worry it would be replaced.
Have had the appliance company visit twice take photos etc and were waiting for further news when a card was put through my door to say a repair company had called to inspect the cooker. This was without any notice or appointment. It was written on the card to contact this company, which my husband has done and they said they have been instructed to replace the cooker doors.
I am happy if this resolves the rust issue but am wondering where I stand if there are further complications. When I raised the issue originally with Taylor Wimpey they said I should be taking up with the manufacturer and I thought they were responsible as I purchased it from them and they should resolve or replace.
If I accept a repair, does that mean if there are further problems all I am entitled to is another repair?
Who is ultimately responsible Taylor Wimpey or AEG?
Thanks.

With most new builders, they offer warranties. so they should fix anything they have put into the property. They do put extremely cheap fittings and fixtures in now, this is to keep costs down and make max proffit. Things should not be rusting within such a short period of time, I would badger them to fix everything until they do. Don't let them fob you off, you have paid through the nose for new, what is new about rusting rubbish! Tell them you will have to complain very loudly if they won't honour these useless warranties they always shout about.0
