I have a 6 stage water filter system. Costs a bit more than that to purchase because it's better made and considerably better at filering. A pair of filters because it's a 2 filter unit, cost about £50 and last me 12 months. The taps are what really cost. The main stainless steel double filter unit is about £100 but a three way tap..........

You can go for the cheaper single separate tap unit but you cannot really get a kettle or much of anything underneath them on a sink. Standing holding the stuff inside a sink is not a good use of my time. 2+ ltr/min can take some time, about a minute, to fill a large kettle. That is a minute of my time wasted IMO.

Ah, but if you have any sense and a little ingenuity, you fit an under sink valve and a keg of beer and pump system and have the beer coming out of your three way tap when the kids are not around......Dual use ;)

I paid less than that for mine and my tap looks better, to me, than those. It's also a dual cartridge filter system and the cartridges last x3 as long.

If you can purchase the filter system, you can buy any tap that you want. Either a single filter tap or the better three way taps if you can find a suitable one at the right price. The three way taps are very expensive and even more so now than when I purchased mine.

I'm damned if I can find any filtration data on the Brita website. They don't seem very forthcoming with such data for some reason.
