Santander Zero credit card account closed?

I just wondered if anyone has ever had their Santander Zero credit card withdrawn because they no longer have a qualifying current account?

I currently have a qualifying Zero account but will shortly not have the £10,000+ balance in savings for me to keep hold of it. I only ever really had it for 5% interest and the overseas cash withdrawals, but I have other accounts that I can use for that now.

I would like to keep the card, but can't see anywhere in the terms that they will withdraw it, even though you had to qualify for it originally.

Any ideas?

No. Perhaps you mean the Debit card.
  • Well, I never had a Santander current account. I applied for Zero when it was open to newcomers and I use it frequently.

So perhaps you'll get to keep it, even if you no longer meet the criteria that was imposed upon you when you got it.
