Resealing a driveway using Airport Grade Driveway Sealer

My driveway is looking a little 'tired', structurally its seems sound, it has a few rough areas / cracks etc but on the whole is ok.
The main problem with the drive is the number of loose stones / gravel that seem to end up in the house from it.
Quotes to have it relaid have come in around the £3000 mark. As an alternative to this I've been thinking of just resealing it. The materials for resealing would only £200 max. Has anyone here resealed a drive before

Bog std tarmac drive as far as I tell0

not alot you can do as the tarmac surface is starting to fail and come lose
most driveway sealers are just for block paving you can get some tarmac sealer/restorer arounf £75 for 20l but couldnt say how long they will last and more than likely wont have any guarantee so all you will be doing is prolonging the wait for a replacement drive
the quote for £3k was that for tarmac?
have you thought about block paving?
or have the tarmac removed and have 20mm gravel put down instead- there will still be stones on the drive but nothing small enough to get stuck in shoes and brought into the house0 -
This is the product I was looking at - http://www.blackjacksurfacetechnology.com/products/latex-ite-airport-grade-tarmac-sealer-driveway-renovator-18-lite-pail.html
Yes the quote was for re tarmacing the drive, I've assumed that block paving would be more expensive0 -
