One easy and relatively cheap way to do this is to get the regular boat service from Westminster via the Thames Barrier to Greenwich. Then get off, have lunch and a few drinks. Get back on and return to Westminster.
£7.25 return if booked online Mon-Fri

RIBs are great fun.
We went on one off the Isle of Skye. Very noisy, bouncy and windy. More exciting than your average boat trip though.0 -
