ESA Medical Before my Appeal has been heard??

  • Hi muttleyfrog. I finally have a date for my ESA appeal 12 Oct, in the afternoon, which is not great for me as I am usually tired, start slurring my words and talking incoherantly. I don't want to change the appointment as it has been a year since I started claiming ESA, and I am fed up waiting, just want to get it over with.

This might actually work in your favour as the tribunal will be able to see how you really are.

As above.... remember some of the descriptors relate to communication etc! Make sure you are aware of the descriptors you feel apply to you before you go to tribunal... so that at least in mind you have the route to qualification and therefore the relevant information you hope to give... make notes in advance if necessary to remind you.

  • Hi Muttleythefrog, Unfortunatly the appeal is based on my original ESA medical which was in Dec and I had applied for ESA on the grounds of sleep apnoea & osteo arthuritis. The stroke I had in May since then.
