Using iPhone to post pictures on eBay/ eBay iPhone app

Hi, I would appreciate some advice from more experienced eBay users. My grasp on technology is limited, in particular when it comes to digital photos/ storing photos on computers etc, and that has been putting me off using eBay. I wonder if it would be much simpler uploading pictures directly from my iPhone. Would I have to use the eBay iPhone app to do that, and would people generally recommend using the app?
Thanks
Thanks

Hi, I use the app as i feel its much easier, Its simple and easy to navigate i feel listing items on the app is a breeze compared to online. Worth a try.. do a test auction (put random item in 'test auction' category to get a feel and view of how it works).Better to understand a little than to misunderstand a lot.0

Thanks, Paddy. Can you upload photos directly from your iPhone using the app? That's what I really have trouble with.0

Yeah theres a simple button that says 'Add Picture' and when you click it, itl then go into your camera roll and all you just have to do is click which one. It is very simple i assure you, I loved it and use it for pure speed.Better to understand a little than to misunderstand a lot.0

I agree with Paddy H, I use the iPad app and love it. It's so much quicker and simpler than listing online, no waiting for photos to upload.
Good luck!0 -
However, I don't buy from sellers that list using the eBay app. To me It signals a lazy seller.
Just my thoughts.0 -

It seems a lot of people think like you judging by the bargains I have picked up from sellers using the ebay app. Probably the lack of information they put in the item description possibly puts potential buyers off?0 -
If they are lazy, whether on a phone or not it doesn't make much difference.markwilkinson wrote: »However, I don't buy from sellers that list using the eBay app. To me It signals a lazy seller.

Sellers who take a picture of a coat, don't bother to rotate it the right way and then description says "coat, size12" and that's it, they're lazy.
Having used the Ebay android app to list, it's easy enough to add text and put up a decent listing.
I tend to use the app to revise quantities when I need to, surprisingly easy to do. The messaging system is good too, if I could get it to work for two accounts rather than one I'd be very pleased..0 -

Possibly - the items I've seen listed from phones don't tend to inspire confidence and a lot of problems seem to come after the sale when the buyer receives something they weren't expecting.
Bargains are bargains but I want to get things right first time. I don't have money to waste.
Mind you, there are a lot of lazy listings out there that are not listed with a phone
