Off topic: I'm slightly concerned that some people think it's a matter of course for teachers to have business insurance and to have pupils in their car. Best avoided at all costs and no school should be insisting that teachers have business cover or that teachers use their cars for anything more than commuting.
It used to be the case that most teachers had Class One business use. It was for if they had to take a child to hospital or home or visit other schools etc.0 -
Things must have changed since then. I was advised by my union rep to not take children in my car, least an accusation be made, even though I do have business use as I use my car to travel to training. I was told most people at my workplace do not have business use. I'm a regular high school teacher though so don't do home visits, hospitals etc.Save £200 a month : [STRIKE]Oct[/STRIKE] Nov Dec Jan Feb Mar Apr0
