Attendance Allowance Query

Looking for some guidance please!
I have a family member who has recently been awarded Attendance Allowance for the first time. The forms were completed with assistance from a disability organisation. We think that the nature of the disability has been exaggerated, leading to an award at the Higher Rate, which probably can not be justified.
What is the best way of dealing with this? The individual concerned is worried about overclaiming, and even more worried about declaring this. I'm not sure that we even have a copy of the claim form to be able to see what has been declared, in order to understand the likely overclaim.
Any suggestions??
Thanks, all.

Does the person in question not know what was said?
Did he/she actually send the form or did the organisation do it?
If the latter, has the organisation a file copy?
Presumably you have looked at this?http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/MoneyTaxAndBenefits/BenefitsTaxCreditsAndOtherSupport/Disabledpeople/DG_10018710
If the relative is still unhappy then there is not much alternative to contacting the benefits people?0 -

No option but to go back to DWP and get a copy of the form, I think. It's all a bit vague.....

This happens a lot when forms are filled in by an organisation that knows the clever ways of wording things; some people even think it's a good thing but congratulations to your relative for having scruples.0
