Hi on 24th august we took my partners wage slip in to the council as it had decreased the lady said she will send it to the benefits dept..
Our claim is not suspended as it has been a decrease not an increase but when I called today they said they have received it on 24 august but they have not actioned it yet as the benefits dept is very busy and are working a bit behind..
It has never took this long before and has been nearly 3 weeks although before they did fastrack it due to my mental health but because it is not suspended they cannot do that this time..
I worry about the slightest things and wondered if this is normal length of time to change it..
All they say is they are very very busy and working on certain dates around the 16th ?
Thanks all.

My city council are quoting four weeks (back in June anyway) for changes to HB claims. It's someone else's fault.0
