Nabru Sofa's

I am looking into buying a Nabru sofa and just wondered if anyone had any input? I've read a lot of reviews and most of the more recent ones are good. The poor reviews seem to be regarding purchases made last year.

This thread is a little old but if you are still looking for flat pack sofas, I would definitely recommend Nabru.
I've bought two 2.5 sofas. They are dead simple to put together, took about two hours in all on my own per sofa. The instructions are clear and there are no screws or tools needed.
They will send out swatches of fabric and I'm really pleased with the choice I made.
Emails to customer service were answered within an hour.

I apprecaite this post is a little old but thought it might help someone. We purchased a Nabru sofa and sofabed at a bargain price from eBay about 2 years ago.
Have to say we are very pleased with both. The large sofa is solid and sturdy and has the bonus that you can lift the seats up and use the underneath as a secret storage area which is very handy.
The sofabed is just as sturdy which surprised me and when used as a sofa you would never know it was a sofabed. Both are comfortable to sit on.
They are pretty straightforward to put together. My brother already had a Nabru sofa and came over to give us a hand. He and my husband were able to put both together in about an hour.:beer:0 -
Sorry for bumping up an old post but I am hoping I can get a bit of advice, I have a Nabru sofa with the double seating and according to the assembly instructions I am supposed to insert the wooden panel between the cusion and the cover, now this seems to me a bit odd as there is a hole cut to be a handle for lifting it up to access the storage underneath, it has been six months since I put it together and I have never been able to get the seams to match up as it is a stretch, looked at it again today and it is looking like the material is ready to split through the strain of having the board inside the seat. So is it correct to have the board inside the seat?
I really hope this makes sense.0 -
We are delighted with our Nabru sofas, now 3 years old, looking and feeling good (although as our other sofa is still excellent at 40 years, they have a long way to go)
NoU - yes, the board is inside the seat IF it's the same as ours. But when we struggled a bit, we rang Nabru and they were very helpful.0 -
Board inside is right. If you look on the Nabru site their is a video in the assembly section. You can see the Nabru staff putting one together.
The last time my other half washed the upholstery she dried it so it wasn't bone dry. Just a little bit of moisture left in the fabric seemed to help stretch it into place. The seams can look a little strained but we've had ours for 4 years. Washes the upholstery twice and not had a seam split.0
