thank you tiger eyes, I have a tesco opticians nearby. Were your lenses quite thin? I am not sure how much difference the superthin lenses would make, if those are included in the price that might swing it.

I'd estimate that the outermost edge of the lens toward the outside of the face is maybe 7mm thick, with that being the thickest part of the lens. The lenses look fine to me, but lens thickness isn't a priority for me.
