fixed rate ending and partner has adverse credit - help!

our fixed rate is coming to an end in October (yes I am trying to be organised!) since taking our mortgage out my partner has had to approach to CCCS to pay of his debt. This is all sorted and he is paying a fixed amount each month. We have never missed a mortgage payment so our history with Nationwide is very good (been with them 4 years). I am really worried that we are going to have problems come October when we have to remortgage?
Any advice would be much appreciated!

If you think his credit is bad enough to stop you getting a product with another company, how about a simple product switch with your existing lender? Considering you haven't missed a payment with them, it'd be worth a stab.Scott0

As Scott has said, a product transfer with Nationwide should be straightforward and they will not undertake any credit checks, providing you are not increasing the loan. You should be able to sot it out with a phone call nearer the time0

Thanks to you both for your advice - I will give it a shot! I thought they would credit check us again hence the concern.0
