New wing mirror glass

I've just had my wing mirror bashed off by a speeding car while I was parked. Incredibly despite the speed they were going they didn't take the whole mirror unit off so I think I've just got to replace the mirror part.
I feel a bit stupid for not knowing this but where do I go to get the glass replaced? I don't have to go to the dealer do I?

All depends if they are heated, electrical, auto dim etc
But make and model of car would help too, a picture be handy as well.0 -
