Thrifty_Sister wrote: »Morning all - been skimming and see that a lot of peeps seem to be getting trouted by more zealous SA's etc. I was also trouted (maybe filleted is a better description as it ended up ok) lol when the newbie SSA called over SV and she told me I had already used my £9 ish apg. No way said I - I wouldn't do something dishonest if thats what you are insinuating but she said she would have to have it checked to make sure. Next thing she is emptying machine and rooting through all used apg's in the slot of the machine ( I had done 2 shops seperately and she said you have already used 1 £10 ish apg to which I said yes, I got lucky so am treating myself to some expensive s/poo:D:D:D:D and the second shop is my Mothers and as I have been lucky enough to get a couple of decent apg's :cool::cool::cool::cool:am sharing my good fortune. This shut her up and after having checked 'somewhere' that my apg's were legit walked off with tail between her legs.:rotfl::rotfl:
Why do I feel like a criminal though even though everything was ok in the end?:o:o
Just a small tip - don't just submit one apg, submit two each time - the big one and a small one. Place the small one on top of the big one when you hand it over - it lessens the immediate impact of the big one. Always trim your apg's - they spend less time tearing them down and deliberating over them. Just a thought.never stop doing your best because someone doesn't give you credit0 -
Could anyone tell me the exact size and name of a listerine that has compared for them and i'll just get that one - im fluffing not knowing what size and the names are all so similar - im on MSM now so I can get an idea of what it looks like ? I listed a few that I know ppl said compared but I have no sizes just prices? TIA
Listerine Smart Rinse for Kids 6+ Mild Mint (500ml)
Listerine Antibacterial Mouthwash Total Care (500ml)
Also the new Colgate ones compare. The pro relief one is great with the pr relief toothpaste. The total care on works too

Morning! Lovely new thread - thanks Kadison! I think I managed two posts on the last thread, so better than predicted!!
I know I don't gather the biggest of stashes, but just wanted to say I'm loving the 'poo - and now I'm getting more confident, I'm even looking for new additions - does that mean I've got my MSE mojo back?
Just put last night's shop through the APG:
0.5 x SADA Green Seedless Grapes by weight A:1.24 T:1.73
0.36 x SADA Onions by weight (100g) A:0.32 T:0.36
1 x SADA Paracetamol 500mg Caplets (16) A:0.19 T:0.19
1 SADA Baby New Potatoes (1kg) A:1.35 T:!.35
2 x Clean & Clear Deep Cleansing Facial Wipes (25) A:4.00 T:0.20
1 x Fox's Chocolatey Shortcake Biscuits (130g) A:1.59 T:1.79
1 x Silver Spoon Gran Sugar (2kg) A:1.74 T:N/A
2 x Kingsmill 50/50 Rolls (6) A:1.60 T:1.00
3 x Berocca Stay Sharp...Effervescent A:10.00
T:8.00
1 x SADA SP Hair Gel (300ml) A:0.15 T:0.10
1 x SADA Skin System Cosmetic Cotton Pads A:1.00 T:N/A
1 x SADA Chosen by You Ham (425g) A:4.00 T:N/A
2 x Aussie Aussome Volume Conditioner (250ml) A:6.67 T:0.20
1 x Aussie Aussome volume Shampoo (300ml) A:3.33 T:0.10
Comparison total A:30.44 T:15.02
So - a slightly bigger voucher than I had anticipated, but will hold my breath and hope for an absence of trouts. Interesting that the Berocca compared as we go through a lot of this! Just one question - do you ever buy just the comparable + magic ingredient and pay by voucher, or do you always disguise with other stuff too. I realise that my APG would have been a bit more had I not bought the fruit/veg and the biscuits but they were needed!! CBAd to do a seperate shop for them as it was late already!
I used an APG voucher for about £8, plus multi savings on the berocca and toiletries obviously so a saving of £11.97 off the total too: BIG thanks.
Happy day to all. (And now I'll read back and thank - just wanted to talk first!!)0 -

Morning all,
Any real ale drinkers in.
Don't know if anyone else tried it but I did and Mr Tinyshoes will be very happy with Hobgoblin and Speckled Hen 83p a bottle.
It worked the same as the Newcastle Brown did for someone else. :T
8 x Hobgoblin As £14.40 (I paid £12 in the 2 for £3 offer) Ts £10.00 (4 for £5 offer).
Same for the hens
Got £4.40 plus the £1.00 10% cheaper = £5.40 off a £12 spend, so £6.60 for 8 bottles which works out 82.5p :j:j:j
Not got time to catch up todayso please can I ask is the coke still working as did not get time to get anymore yesterday.

1 x Vanish Powerfoam Carpet Cleaner (600ml) £4.49 £4.600 -
Not denying that, just saying you stand to lose more if you hit the £100 limit and your £30 APG gets reduced to £2
I'd rather have a £10 reduce to £2 (not that the system has ever recognised me as hitting the limit)
Mine was £16.xx down to £2.xx. Lesson learnt - when talking about the Asda app, only use it if you have an iPhone/iPod/iPad and not a decent phone based on Android
If a voucher is capped this month, does it un-cap next month? I know a few people have suggested trying again but has it ever been confirmed or is it a hopeful suggestion? TIANo one can make you feel inferior without your consent ~ Eleanor Roosevelt0 -
If cleaning is still working, i've put these through & they work ok the other day.
CIF Power Pro Naturals Kitchen Multi Purpose Spray
CIF Floor Cleaner & All Purpose Cleaner – Ocean
Just in case it helps anyone out there.
The Camomile Wood Floor Cif cleaner DOESN'T found that out last night
Does anyone know of a wood/laminate floor cleaner that does work :-)
NB it shows me up as newbie here, but I joined in 2005 but haven't been on forum for a while. Can't seem to get my old log on to work, so had to register again.
Many thanks for all the postings & long may the Asda Glitching continue0 -
Just want to scream
I keep my toothpaste stash in the top of a cupboard I cannot reach, so I never know how much is left.
My DS has just said "we have run out of toothpaste" the box is empty.
Now have to try and study the dental glitch, but took me ages to understand the tk, coke and shampoo ones. grrr
