    Good evening all :)

Managed to get to Adsa knackered now though!!

As i was walking to Adsa entrance i stopped because was on phone and finishing cigarette, old man that STUNK walked up to me, stood about 2 inches in front of my face with his big skanky breath and SCREAMED at me. "you shouldnt be breathing your smoke in your childs face like that hes going to have a heart attack by the time hes 10 and it'll be your fault put your effing fag away you are disgusting how dare you" this went on for about two minutes with me in between him shouting saying politely "it really is none of your business what i do or do not do with my son" which riled him up more, by this point was a bit like woooow this is weird. Everyone staring at us, more at him. He was just an old man but i felt so threatened by how close he was standing to me.

After the week i've had with tv broken/phone broken/ bed etc i just flew off the handle i couldnt stop myself i should have walked away but he was humiliating me so i started shouting back at him.
I really did lose my temper badly but he shouldnt have even given me a second glance in the first place. :(:(:(

I would like to point out my son was in his pram i was not blowing it in his face, his hood on pram was up and i was stood the other way because was trying to get him for nap and was on phone to boyfriend. i do not smoke in my flat or anywhere near my son.

    Anyway awaiting APG now :)

DONT WORRY about this silly man (i always have a go back why shuldnt you) i think if a stranger wants to come and inter fear in my day/ time with friends/family and poke there nose where its not wanted then be prepared for my reply
    hope you get good APG

    Hi

Would you be able to hint a bit more about your areas of expertise/inside knowledge, because I am really interested and fascinated about why this hasn't been fixed (as I am sure are many many others) - not that I want it to be :)

I don't see a problem with Asda's prices - in fact, one thing I have learned throughout all this is that A is often much cheaper than it's competitors. Take the cereal glitch, the base price of a lot of their cereals is much lower. The problem seems to be the writing of the code for a third party contracted service, and I am astonished that A hasn't forced the issue because price integrity is a lynch pin in the supermarket wars. OK, we are benefitting from lower "artificial" comparison prices, but if the system is so comprehensively effed, then that pulls a lot of doubt as to whether they are comparing unfavourably upward.

Can't understand why they would leave the integrity of their pricing comparisons open to question - ** is a massive data management company and they seem to be getting it very wrong. Or has A taken the ** data themselves and somehow cocked things up their end?

As you can probably imagine I cannot give away too much. I suspect the fault of the glitch is at the comparison end, and to me the key hint is the fact it's an external company being utilised to do the comparison. This gives the consumer a good impression it's abstracting some of the due diligence of A, which has luckily for us backfired :D in terms of it being fixed - main message is - do not worry about it. "keep calm and carry on glitching". I'd be suprised if a even know about the glitches.
  • Has anyone tried the loreal Paris facial range mixed with hair care?

I've looked back and can only see haircare and dyes.

    Much appreciated if so!

you are right i'm not a font of inside knowledge, I am sorry if it looked as if I pretended to be. My knowledge is only limited and not specifically about the glitch but about the back end system. I am very grateful for all the help I've had from this board, and I've only taken advantage of one shop so far as I'm a cautious character :o

I have somewhat inside knowledge on this, and you're totally correct. Anyone worried about the glitch ending, do not worry too much, The amount lost from us guys purposefully exploiting it is hardly anything compared to their income/profit, it's quite unlikely they will even notice the amount that's being hit on this

That's interesting. If only because that's my totally uninformed gut feeling as well.

Been thinking about the previous posts regarding A staff bonuses going down. Won't they actually go up as people are spending a lot more in their store - APG has to be a national thing and I wouldn't have thought that it would reduce the profit of a local store.

Potentially we're helping the SA get a bonus - they should be nice to us:rotfl:

    Morning all.

    The cove is RED

Went to bed last night with a very heavy heart. All pilot whales and dolphins caught in Taiji the other day have been killed. The pilot whale that had the baby with her became so ill they killed her also. This means the poor baby will have a long agonizing death with no mother to feed from.:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(

As of 6.12am another pod of dolphins are being driven into the cove. Will this never end.:(

I am very sorry if this post upsets anyone, but this situation needs to stay in the lime light.

It is so upsetting but cannot be ignored - it doesn't seem quite right to say thank you for bringing it to our attention. :(:(:(
