I too went wombling tonight - completely fruitless! Found one receipt but only had 7 items on it. Never seen my store so clean!

    Anyone else from Scotland?

A few of us here, our carpark is so clean its unbelievable.
Love your Mum, you'll never get another one when she's gone.

thats what we said about dtd....how long did that go on for??:D

Ahh but with the dtd they were very verbal about how they felt about us before they did. not so sure sada would follw that route though lol I actually bet when they were laughing hard at tosco for their huge mess up they were certain they would never be in that position!

  • Coming out of lurkdom ,,, to say Hi :T and thank you to all who have contributed to this thread ,,, I fell upon it accidentally & have been reading for 2 days .... made my list for my 1st shop today..with help from all your lists,. being a bit cautious that if a thing is too good to be true?...so went for the cleaning products / Cereal / Kiplings / Robinson's juice option thinking if it doesn't work with the ambrosia rice .. may have gone a bit overboard as much to my disbelief got a voucher for £27.73.. which thankfully other than buying 3 Cadburys bags of sweets for the children would have been more than this  ..
can only add that I haven't seen mentioned
    Mr Kippling's - 6 country slices compare to W - 32p..
and going to do another T/W shop tomorrow and to get my next voucher down I am going to buy Jack Daniels 700ml which is £17.00 in Sada compared to £22.50 in W ..
    HTH :)

just remembered before i go to bed
saw a pack of kellogs start on the shelf dated april 2012:eek::eek:

picked it up to have a rant at the SA and midway through my shop i obviously completely forgot and have bought the sodding thing:mad:

how can i prove now it was out of date when i bought it???:(

edit so much for the "smooth" shops lol

If I were you i'd take it back in the morning and explain. Your receipt will at least prove a purchase. If they want to get really funny with you, just mention CCTV to them. Either way you want a refund and one of those shiny gift cards for the inconvenience. ;)
    Looking for a fresh start

  • hi TV
my previous post shows what the costing would have been
    BUT
as per tyroleandancer's post below you can see its no longer glitching so don't buy it now

    workings on 4 bottles

    4x bulmers no.17 £8.64A ( pay£6A) , £5 T
    APG is £8.64- £5 = £3.64 +10%(36p) get £4 back in APG

minus the APG (£4) off actually amount you paid (£6)
leaves £2 divide by 4 (number bought) so 50p each

    well thats my workings anyway
    Bulmers fixed

    Thanks to Izzy PTS

    1 x ASDA Smartprice Strawberry Individual Cheesecake (... £0.31 £0.31
    1 x ASDA Smartprice Milk Chocolate Bar (100g) £0.17 £0.30

How does the bulmers work? How much are u paying for each bottle?
