I don't mind if people have been on holiday but most of the questions come from people who have been doing it for over a week.
You could tattoo everything that compares on someones arm and they would still ask :D:p
And then you got them posting that they're in asdas and does this or that compare? Make the list before you go.0 -
Right , this is my very first try at this , not too bad but what did I do wrong please.

I was going to do just one more shop this evening but Strictly starts at 6.30 and then X-fact is on later but there may be a window of opportunity after strictly while red & black is on. The stores looked a bit wrecked today but may be tidied up by later.0

Thank you - that does help.
Holiday was disappointing! Hotel was supposed to be a 4* but it really wasn't up to standard particularly so far as the dining room and food was concerned. I know you can't pay 4* prices and expect 5 * standard but I don't consider that 3 sorts of blancmange, 2 types of jelly, ice cream, custard (plus fruit and pastries) is right for anything other than a kids birthday party. The hotel was 'adults only so we did expect a bit more. Also, absolutely everything was running in olive oil (an inch deep in the dishes of boiled pasta), the meat , fish, eggs were very overcooked and hard and most of the potatoes were hard. The food selections were very limited after 8.45 even though you could, in theory, go in right up until 9.30 and the staff were banging around cleaning and moving furniture about from 9pm onwards. Trying to enjoy a quiet meal when staff are dragging large tables across the floor and shouting at each other 3 feet from where you are sitting is just not on.
Lots of other issues - dirty crockery, long black hairs on the towels and bedding and lifts breaking down several times a week trapping guests.
The Manager was a complete prat - insisted he never had ANY complaints and that his hotel was the best in Majorca. Amazing really cos we spoke to at least 6 other couples during our last 2 days and they all said the hotel was failing badly and was not up to standard. He won't like what I have to say on Trip Adviser !
At least I had plenty of time to mull over all your posts - and the sunshine seems to have given my 82 year old DH a new outlook on our relationship! He's come over all 'soppy' - even got me flowers when I was in ASDA. Can't be bad - we've both really neglected each other in recent years for no good reason other than familiarity and laziness.
I would put a complaint into the company you booked it through, at least it has had a good effect on your DHElectric and Gas Predators 17/£700:j:j:j October make £10 a day challenge :j:j:j£155/£3100 -

This demonstrates well the problem with even number total but odd number of each Coke and Ambrosia custard tin. You pay full price for one of the Coke.
So..... again - best advice then is to get even number of BOTH Coke and Custard: The Coke then you get the benefit of the two for £7 at Asda and the custard you get the benefit of the BOGOF at Sainsbury's, yes?
Well personally I always bought 1 custard, 1 rice and multiple types of coke in an even number, because that maximises the number of different items too. so also minimises the number of fillers needed. I think you misunderstood FK's point though; tigerwhite's shop wasn't messed up, she bought an even total number so got them all for £0.47 each. The actual Asda prices aren't really as important as what you've really paid for each item when you take the APG into consideration by subtracting it, but they obviously do influence the size of the APG you get; an odd number of coke leaves you with 1 that doesn't qualify for the Asda multisave but shouldn't cost you more than £0.47 when purchased together with the correct number of rice/custard.0 -
