one reason the cheese maynot work is because you got the lighter extra mature

think i was only the extra mature that worked

Afternoon. Hope everyone is well on this gloriously sunny day :D

I did 5 shops (over 2 visits) yesterday and think I'm all glitched out.. so giving today a miss. Only just put my APG's in from last night and re: Sainsbobs shop, the cheese didn't compare (16 triangles dairylea @ £1 and pilgrims choice extra mature black packet 350g @ £3.99). Oh well...
With the nivea, I bought the pink shimmer lip balm instead of the blue creme pot as more likely to use and i don't mind paying £1 for each nivea skincare.

I agree with Sarah7. You would have paid 94p for 1 ambrosia if you bought an odd number of coke/ambrosia. If you buy an even number of coke/ambrosia you would have paid 47p for the 1 ambrosia (or 94p for 2 ambrosia)

    Thanks! :D

If the products are BOGOF then it's best to buy a multiple of 2 in total, e.g. coke/ambrosia.

If the products are 3 for 2 then it's best to buy a multiple of 3 in total, e.g. shampoo.

If the products are 4 for £5 then it's best to buy a multiple of 4 in total, e.g. beer.

Yes there are other ways to make savings but they're not optimal! ;)
  • Got trouted in a weird way today

Shopped at 1st asda and wanted to use a Heinz beans coupon, the young male sa refused to take it, as did the supervisor. I told them to keep the beans and gave him a £15.05 apg. He didn't react at all to the big apg and just put them through without a murmur.

Shopped at 2nd asda and the young female sa took the beans coupon, then refused to take the £2 coupon off a huggies box for a newborn pack. She called a supervisor who said no as well, so I again gave her a large apg, £12+ and nothing was said.

    Weird day today. lol

No, didn't get a reply!! Thought the alberto balsam was a trigger?! have already done shop now :( What is the trigger, just SP gel or conditioner?

The alberto was being used as a trigger for some who did not have SP conditioner or gel. The items will compare but at a slightly higher amount. HTH
