    Morning all,

Did a shop at half 11 last night and included 2 packs of the vairety classic crisps on a T's shop, but they only compared at £4, did I miss a trigger?

Also, if you haven't been for a few days, 500ml pantene poo/cond is done to £2 a bottle, so more efficient to buy against last weeks price of £4.48!

With the crisps from looking at others comparisons on here I think one of the packs has to be meaty, i.e, 2 meaty or 1 of each.

This looks right to me as it stands. Don't forget that you actually only paid £5 for the crisps - there should be a £3.20 discount at the bottom of your receipt.

No the crisps are on offer 2 for £5 but the apg doesnt see the multibuy so thinks you paid £8.xx for them

    Thank you.
I could see that everyone was getting them at £2 each (through apg) and didn't see that as such a great deal. Now I understand! Must have missed that bit :).

Anybody else find keeping up on here and visiting multiple asdas tiring

    Yes but its so addictive!!
    Surely has to end soon.
I'm not surprised more and more people are being questioned though. I noticed several other glitch shoppers while I was shopping yesterday and the Ambrosia pots were randacked. Asda must be getting hundreds of high APG's a day in each store.
I assumed they would have suspended the system whilst they sorted it out but as hubby just pointed out they have a massive marketing campaign "over 4176 priducts cheaper this week" :rotfl: can you imagine having to admit you were wrong due to a software error!!

    Your crisps worked perfectly - remember they only cost you £5 but you're getting £8.20 - £3.60 = £4.60 back! ;)
  • Thank you.

Not entirely sure of the sums but I think you only pay 20p for each pack? Comparison price at T is £3.60 (£4 less 10%)
    APG is £8.20 less £3.60, ie £4.60.
You paid £5, less £4.60 is 40p for both packs??

    Xmas Saver!
Looking back it did work, APG compares at £2 a pack, thinks I paid £8.40 so gives £4.40 +10% back, but I only paid £5, so has worked. I was cncerned cos it was a £17 shop but only an £8.95 APG....

But it wasn't, was only a £14 shop as I hadn't seen the £3.20 crisp discount lower down, so with the extra bits I bought works out fine.

Panic over, thanks for your help!

    :)

OK so I am going to try my first shop today, I plan to get the Ambrosia plus 5 cereals and fillers.
I see that the cheap conditioner triggers hair/beauty products, is there a list anywhere of what products that is? I have seen the Clearasil face wash stuff on some people's receipt posts, is there anything else you can get?

Be careful not to mix up you supermarkets for comparrison. https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4173521 post 4810, this helped me to work it out and write out seperate lists for each competitor! HTH & good luck :)
