    Hi all

Just read back through 50 or so pages and it is 3am and I may of dreamt it but I could of sworn the baby food glitch stopped...but then since saw that someone had had success, think it was Tigerwhite? Or maybe Henlans?

Could really do with stocking up for my little one, his not born yet, but I'm not looking forward to finding out just how expensive babies are in 6 months time

Big thanks to anyone that can confirm anything/point me in the right direction :D

Baby food still works as of a few hours ago anyway. You need to buy in multiples of 3 and include 1 trigger item namely the Heinz baby juice 150ml bottle in either apple or apple & blackcurrant. Because mine are older, I've only been getting stuff suitable for 2+ so the Own Recipe meals and the biscotti biscuits along with fruit & custard pots. Here's what I got tonight

    1 x Heinz Mum's Own Recipe Casserole with Apple & Pork... £1.00 £0.46
    1 x Heinz Mum's Own Recipe Juicy Apricot Chicken with ... £1.00 £0.46
    1 x Heinz Apple Biscotti 7mth+ (12 per pack - 60g) £1.00 £0.46
    1 x Heinz Mum's Own Recipe Sweet & Sour Chicken with R... £0.89 £0.46
    1 x Heinz Banana Biscotti 7mth+ (60g) £1.00 £0.46
    1 x Heinz Baby Juice Apple and Blackcurrant (150ml) £0.59 £0.46

For a newborn I'd suggest the fruit/custard pots and the cereals. Have a look at the following link and see what you'd like.

    http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/#/tesco/bundle/606838_42992.html

The only thing in the link that Asda don't sell are the 2 types of cookies. There will however be stuff in Asda that Ts don't sell so just make sure you buy from the list on that link.

    Remember

    1 x 150ml juice
    2 or 5 or 8 or 11 other products

You must have 8 unique items which is possible from the baby food alone.

Oh and don't forget to join the Asda Baby Club

    http://your.asda.com/baby-club/register

Register and you'll get a coupon to get a free Huggies starter pack. Inside the box is a pack of nappies, pack of wipes, pack of soft sheets. There's also 4 coupons (well 8 really but 4 are in £ and 4 are in Euros) on the inside of the cardboard sleeve, one of which is £2 off any Huggies newborn nappies so you can use it to buy another starter kit for a balance of £1 and so on. In the early days you'll get through tons of nappies but don't stock up too much on the small sizes as babies grow very quickly. When my youngest was 13 months, he was in size 4 nappies and he's not even close to being overweight!

    Good luck and congratulations :T

:(sorry for your trouting, but...:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: love it!

Ah don't be sorry, it was just the therapy I needed! OH was lucky I met Little before I got to him :D

I'm hoping this will make things easier as fingers crossed, I'll have some kind of reference from HO to shove where the sun don't shine if I come across that little maggot again. I'm sure he's lovely really but if you're going to try and have a go at someone, pick on someone your own size :rotfl:

I can't offer you any great advice but I have had a similar experience to yours but without the attitude- my trout was apologetic but still refused my APGs- after she checked them! She photocopied everything and promised to look into it and the following day she reimbursed my vouchers onto a giftcard??!!:rotfl:
I chose not to bother contacting HO about it because I only have the 1 Mr A anywhere near me and wanted to try and put my head back under the radar- but you must do what you need to do.
I don't know if there is a specific dept for apg's within customer services but I try and keep my fuss to a minimum:o

    Hi Cousin jack,
thanks for the reply, i've tried to edit & shorten that post and will have another go as i think there's too much detail and ended up just having a rant
I hate fuss and confrontation but will stand up for myself especially in a situation like that. I was fully expecting a trouting session at some point just because so many others have had one, but i really didn't expect it here or with a non glitchy receipt, that is the irony of it all! I want to be able to shop there again but am half wishing i didn't bother with this now. Like everybody else though i wanted the cheaper stuff but have only got what we and family members need. The other worrying thing is the amount of vouchers i need to kill because family were doing shops for me when i was stuck in bed but not using vouchers produced on those shops for next shop IYSWIM!!! so this has put me right off but i have to get over it as can't afford to lose the money and won't when i haven't done anything wrong. :(
