Just back from doing a combined cereal/cake and Robinsons shop and I threw in a couple of shampoos as well as an experiment. Will update results later.
I had to bite my tongue when I was in Asdas cereal aisle though - there was a young couple with young children doing what looked like their big weekly shop and they were discussing the merits or otherwise of some of the Asda cheap cereals and debating which to get. I sooo wanted to tell them all about this glitch but decided not to as it is just too complicated to explain in a couple of minutes and the chances are that they had stuff in their trolley which might have forced a comparison to tesco or sainsburys anyway. But I bet they thought I was Lady Muck as I was putting Special K at £3.95 a box in my trolley!! Feel sorry that I wasn't able to help them.
Will be back at about 2.30 to update (and then possibly go out again!)
I often feel like this, but it is too complicated to explain in the shop. My own mum just doesn't get it. I always get a few extras and give them to my mum for my younger sisters (mum recently got made redundant,as did I in jan). My mum has no idea what I do or how I do it, but when I take round 10 boxes of cereal next week and tell her they cost me £4, she will be more than grateful.
So will the food bank and my DD's harvest festival at school x0 -

So that every single post that I contribute to this thread is on topic I would just like to say I am an elite 11+ member and I hear the unjust silence of my opinions whilst I am shopping in supermarkets mainly. Just sayin.0 -

I'm well aware i dont own the thread. It was here before me and will be after me. I may have said i post more help than others but thats not to big me up or belittle others. It was meant to pont out i am mostly helpful
It is an open forum for people to post/read. I just wish a few people focussed on the reading part
Anyway, i'm done with the thread for the day so you dont have to deal with my arrogance/ego for a while
i'll catch you all later
aau1 is one of the most helpful people on this thread. I don't think you come across as arrogant at all. He helps newbies and regulars. He has assisted me with a couple of shops.
He does advise people to read - but that is a good thing.
Hope to see you later aau1:AYou can't live a perfect day without doing something for someone who will never be able to repay you. ~John Wooden 154/06/2700
