You are right, a reasonable apg is what I go for now and just do a few extra shops ;)
I can understand some new people maybe don't get it and go hell for leather pile up the trolley and end up with a huge apg

don't get me wrong I am really :j:j about it but after reading midwinter's post about possible upcoming offers wouldn't it be nice if it was still around?

I have visions of trolley wars in A's, filled to the brim of cereal and a's staff standing going

Umm, nope, the shampoos aren't really 10p in Tesco are they, the Iams 3kg isn't really 39p in Waitrose its pretty obvious there is a fault in the APG system.

    Long may it continue.:T

oH Ok thanks I didn't know about a shampoo one, I've only just jumped on this tonight so haven't seen anythign about a shampoo, just cereal.

how big is too big for a APG do you reckon?

Each to their own.. Don't wanna start any right/wrong debate.

I personally keep mine about £9-15 no-one seems that bothered by them at checkout :D

DH however has done a few 40 ones

I would not be able to spend one that size, even though I know they have to honour it, I would be stressing out.. DH had a till closed down whilst they checked his today! but they accepted it, but it has made him want to get lower ones now to avoid future embarrassment .. He said the CS were very friendly with him but things he should get below my comfy radar :A

    I bought all three items

    ambrosia
    cereal
    cleaning products,

so there is no reason that your shop or indeed the following wouldn't work...

    1x ambrosia
    1x cereal
    1x cleaning products:D

that wasn't my question but it has been answered since thanks :A
