    Neosi's Easy Flapjacks
    125g butter or margarine
    100g dark brown soft sugar
4 tablespoons golden syrup or 6 Tablespoons of Honey
    250g oats
    40g sultanas or raisins (optional)
    1. Preheat the oven to 180 C / Gas mark 4.

    2. In a saucepan over low heat, combine the butter, brown sugar and golden syrup. Cook, stirring occasionally, until butter and sugar have melted. Stir in the oats and sultanas until coated. Pour into an 20cm square baking tin. The mixture should be about 2 to 3cm thick.

    3. Bake for 20 minutes in the preheated oven, or until the top is golden. Cut into slices and leave to cool completely before removing from the tin.
    4. Optional...:D cover or dip in 1p choccie (or A's 17p Milk Choccie Bar)

Just got served by TROUTerasaurus Rex. There was absolutely no need for her to be so rude and evil! It's not my fault Asda prices are so high (well kind of). I stood my ground though.

    :rotfl:i love this description!!!!

Who cares at that price trial and error, just need a glitch on the syrup?

    Good evening everyone :)

Thanks to the various parts of the collective who've sussed and honed the cereals glitch :)

Can I join the messed it up club too...... got distracted and forgot the trigger on a Robinsons today :( and now see could have got it cheaper anyway. Will take the hit, it'll get used.

Chandlerscroft....... been thinking about T promotions today, and around September, T's have had their baking 342 promo in the past, (ready for all that Christmas Baking), and last year it included jams/syrup etc. Keep your eyes peeled, if APG still going then, would be rather good :)

.. Not going to be doing a jig over it are they.

won't be jigging no, but won't be crying eating 48 x weetabix either :p I don't think this has reached the dizzy heights of RNR yet
