Anyone got a good recipe for Flapjacks?....one way of using up the porridge oats we will all be buying..:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

We make cookie out of them.

75g of oats, self raising flour, sugar and butter.
    2tbs of golden syrup
    - put sugar, butter and syrup into microwave safe bowl and heat for 1 or2 mins
    - mix in oats and flour at the same time
    - divide into balls and spread out on greased oven tray and flatten a little
    - cook at 180 for 10 mins or until golden then leave to cool a bit before removing from tray or they'll break up (I know this because DH loved them but could never wait until they were cool!)
If they break up I would have let them cool then crumble them up to be used as crumble topping :D
Otherwise they were eaten within minutes of being ready

    Hope this helps someone

[...] I got these 2 packs and will be getting more tomorrow and for however long this one lasts, as I am donating them to the kennels for the Rescue Dogs, and I may even get one or two packs for the rescue cats too
    Such a noble cause too.

I am now determined, tonight's shop will be all Iams and it's going to the RSPCA where I got my doggies. :A
