the oats make it cheaper.
Thats right, but I was thinking that because the oats are £1.64, you get £1.26 back on that, which is less you can spend on cereals if you want to keep the APG low, it might make the difference of buying large or small boxes!
Ive worked this out, not sure how accurate it is, as i dont know how to factor in the 10%
If you want to get shreddies, you can get
2x 750g and 3x 500g for an approx 'comfortable' APG of £8 (1 trigger and five cereals)
or
3x 750g and 2x 500g for an 'uncomfortable' approx APG of £9.25, if you used the porridge as your trigger, that would definitely push it into double figures
Hope that makes sense!
Oh and Ive also noticed that 375g cheerios are £1 in sainsbobs, so be careful if you just get them, as it may compare to sainsbobs instead?0 -

I would like to say a huge, massive THANK YOU to those of you who have taken the time and trouble to work this out, and test it too.
I have been stuck in work all day and had no chance of being able to do either. I am already on the borderline for the amount of time I spend on the internet!
I have been clearing out the cupboard under the stairs and some of the kitchen cupboards to make space in readiness
I have list (s)

just one more question
8 different cereals, including trigger and a bottle of squash should be all i need right?
Or am i better off splitting it down into 2 shops with fillers for smaller value APG's?I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards.
