I just chanced it this morning after seeing a few reports yesterday - but I bought 8 as to make it worth while? APG only compares up to 10 of each item so I couldn't buy 12 ( even though they only had 8 ) - I'd buy 8 as you get back roughly £8 give or take ! I suppose you could do it with the red wine too? I might give that a shout later !
thanks daisy
I just checked it out and has to be in multiples of 4.AvT so can be combined with poo, facial, TK, deodrant
I may mix the original wih the No 17 if the sel says nix n match.:j:j:j:j0 -
how many packs of cereal bars would i need?
I was going on the premise of 8 different alpen at £12 plus 1 of the oats at £1.64 would be total of £13.64 and have 9 comparables. This would be compared to 9x39p (£3.51) less 10%
so £13.64 v £3.16 gives APG of £10.48 (a litle over my self imposed £10 max!)
But the mulitibuy didn't kick in so I paid £4 more than planned which I got refunded together with a £16 giftcard so I dont even need to use the APG (not sure if I coould the amount its been written on now)Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -

Cereal glitch or not I'm in profit
One of my shops was 8 packs Alpen and the porridge oats. Paid £1.98 for each Alpen pack but there was a HUUUGE 3 for £2 aisle end display had been left up and the multibuy did not kick in :rotfl:
I got a refund of 48p per pack (£3.84) plus £2 on a giftcard for each different product overcharged i.e. 8x2=£16
Then to top it all off I found a ten pound note in the car park :j:j

I think that oats are not necessary if the cream cleaner is affecting the price.tyroleandancer wrote: »But buying the cleaner means you pay more for your cerealthe oats make it cheaper.
As tyroleandancer correctly said, you would be better to buy just oats, rather than cream cleaner ...then everything should compare at 39p0 -

Just take the hit and learn from it. We all make mistakes. the important thing is to learn from them
I wouldnt have used gavison as a filler anyway. Too expensive :rotfl:
My partner got the gaviscon as he needed it anyway.
I also wasn't going to ring & moan that the glitch didn't work, was just going to ask why after buying 9 comparable items, the systems says I didn't buy enough.0 -
In a word yes!!:D
Course we're bovver'd! and how's little polly pocket!!?:D
I took OH and polly to A this morning - made OH use an APG for me on a separate shop and he kept giggling and pretending he was wombling. He found it very amusing... not sure I'd trust him on his own though - he is "in training".Thanks, thats the result I was expecting.
For a minute I thought you meant you had got the johnsons to compare at the price of the Ambrosia/coke iyswimTiger
