  • Thanks for that SD. No cheese here either - it seems to be all Coleraine or Fivemiletown cheese. Was going to take a trip to shore road but a fair way to go to find nowt. No sweets here either. Thanks again. P

I haven't checked for sweets but not seen any Lake-whateveritwas cheese, only the Irish/local ones.

Anyoen who ahs bought the duck toilet disc things - I bought them in lime and alpine - the 6 pack that was £2 but can't work out are they the refills or the actual thing as there is a tube inside them? I bought the duck toilet brush too and it compared but I thought it was the starter pack for the discs - MY local sold these discs and a refills pack at £4.99 but I couldn't work them out?

    Thanks in advance

They are not refills. I can't remember how to use them now, had to read the instructions over and over again :rotfl:

  • +Depends on your attitude to risk and whether you have any morals you wish to uphold.
    either :-
    1) Take the lot back and give in your receipt and scrap the APG
2)Suck it up and use the lesser APG
3)Use the APG then return it and risk your reputation at that ASDA
4)Return the item and then use the APG with similar consequences.

I'm firmly in camp no.2., I make mistakes but I know I'm up on the game and wish to play a lot longer.

Yep, win some lose some. We deffo win more than we lose so all good in the end.

  • I don't think so, at least not in NI maybe in other parts of the country but I think we are more tolerant with different races. On the whole anyway.

I remember the first time I saw a non-local (I've no idea what is politically correct these days). My first thought wasn't the colour of their skin more "Why on earth would you want to live here?"
