VOIP App for android?
Options
Hi All
Looking for a decent VOIP or similar App as even with 900 mins I still manage to go over, and the fact I have 2 daughters with contracts might be worth looking into!
I have a HTC Sensation on Vodafone and the others are Wildfire on Orange and Desire on TBC! The first 2 have data and BT Openzone type thingy and we have wireless at home, and no doubt the third will have too.
Can anyone recommend a good VOIP or similar app, we'll all be calling mainly, if not solely, UK mobiles and landlines.
Thanks in advance

You don't have to use an app, you can use VoIP natively... find a provider that gives you SIP settings and enter them under the call settings0

Sorry but that has gone straight over my head! Will have a google later.
By provider do you mean my network, Vodafone?
Does anyone know where I might find a guide for this?
Thanks again0 -

I can also recommend Localphone - http://www.localphone.com/.
I use their app on my Android and it works well, plus I find the rates very good. They are also SIP compatible so you can use the native Android SIP client (if you have it) as well.
Also worth checking out is Viber - http://www.viber.com/ which is free if your contacts are running it as well.0 -
i recommend rebtel0
