Will the OP be entitled to anything though because OH is working presumably in a full time job?0

When I signed on in 2009 and said I couldn't work full time because I had to attend hospital once a week (two hours there and back on a train), they first said I couldn't sign on and then said that I could because I was available 4 days in the week and saturday making the full 5 days. It was all very silly because I still was expected to apply for jobs that I couldn't actually do. (Before everyone moans, I have worked part-time since and don't claim any benefits. I no longer have blood tests every week either but that's neither here nor there.) But the OP needs to be careful as to what they say at the job centre.0
