how many extra washable nappies??

Hi all,
just a quick question for any washable nappy people reading:

Our little girl is due at the end of November :j

DS will be 21 months by then and we're doing well with Bumgenius. I bought the big package of 24 nappies.

Was now wondering how many extras to buy - was assuming it wouldn't be necessary to buy the whole 24 again...but I could be wrong...

Congratulations!
You may manage with the same number of nappies but more washes, depending on how well you can dry them. Mine were both in relatively few nappies per day by 21months so there would have been plenty left each day for a newborn.

You may get lucky on freegle/ freecycle/ ebay between now and November if you keep your eyes open

I did just have quick look on ebay and it wouldn't be too expensive to buy a few more. I'm in Holland and they seem quite a bit cheaper in the uk.

Will have a think about the more washes issue - currently manage easily mostly washing every other day, drying inside, without tumble dryer.
