i am in the posistion where it would be cheaper for me or about the same to live abroad for 6 months and live with my girlfriend for the other 6 months and get off esa. At the moment im currently on cb esa wrag so this would end after 365 days (i have asked for a supersession/appeal for the support group) and i would not qualify for ir esa. Though it would be great to get away from dealing with the dwp and the stress of doing so a part of me thinks why should i have to do this.It isnt my fault i cannot work and yet i will be stopped money.i know thats how it is but it grates me.
maybe a no brainer but what would other people do?

hard to say without all the details but if you are only getting ESA for a year and want to go aboard to live then I would do it, but if you think you will have to sign back onto ESA then all you are really doing is putting off dealing with DWP, which I understand is stressful.0
