Well phishing means you gave your details to a fraudulent email so that can't really be the fault of any of the companies mentioned.

OK apologies for misunderstanding the term phishing. My card has been used fraudulently following an order placed with the above.

Even though it's only anecdotal it's surprising how many regular techie posters seem to have had at least one bad experience with them. Although I only had one order (and I am pleased with my cheap printer) with them my experience was bad enough to not have any confidence in using them again.

Maybe that it is the techies that buy more thechie stuff that pixmania sell, we also like bargains and search for the best prices, pixmania prices are very good so most of us will have tried them.

Unfortuantly they fall over when it comes to returns and customer services, maybe they just have lots of faulty stuff to sell? and that is why their prices are so cheap?

I know I won't buy from them again.

I have used them and had no complaints at all. Good price and speedy delivery. Have to speak as you find.
  • My advice is never to buy anything from them that could go wrong, or need a different sort of plug. I received two products, one with a UK socket, one without, and no adapter. They said they would send me a refund to buy one locally, but I am still waiting for this because they want me to send them my bank account details via an unsecure HTTP website - I don't think so!

I paid by credit card, but they won't refund me by credit card even though their website says they would. They even advise not to send bank details to them via email, and then suggested I do. All their comms come from noreply@pixmania.com which means you have to use the website to contact them.

    AVOID !
