Good scales?

I need a decent set of digital scales to do 2 jobs. The first is weighing my items for posting (as I've got quite hooked on the Royal Mail online postage thingy) and the second is weighing out products - I'm going to start selling some of my beads and findings by the 1,000 and it's going to be much quicker to weigh them out than count them, and cheaper in terms of time even if it means I end up sending out a few more than 1,000 in a pack.

So any recommendations for a pair of accurate, reliable scales? Must weigh to 1g increments and be able to 'zero' them with a container for beads on top!

A harmonic minor was always my favourite. And Db and F# major, just because I could! I'm a flautist though...

I got my digital ones on ebay, though I have bought another set at Lidl, they go up in 1gr increments and have a TARE function, goes to zero, at any time.

great for baking and mailing stuff! Mine are as accurate as the PO ones. I have trimmed a package down to get it under the 1kg and it was exaclty the same at the PO.

I got a nice glass topped set off eBay, 1g increments up to 6kg, digital display.
About £12 if I remember rightly. Very good for the kitchen and eBay!

Great scales, but that's the oddest listing I've ever seen! Seller is in Germany and will only post to Spain

Its says on the listing he will post worldwide but has quoted Spain as an example . I would email him and ask how much the postage to the UK would be .

I got mine from Staples, on one of these buy a ruler for 30p, pay postage and get a free something or other.
They, weigh in 1g increments to 2kg and can be zero'd. Think I paid about £3.90 including the ruler They have served me well for a while, it might be worth looking out for if you plan to buy something from staples....

i got mine in the charity shop for 99p! Looked on ebay and the same model was £25! Worth Keeping an eye out!

I bought from Tescos and they have both functions you ask for, they were the cheaper of the two digital scales they were selling (they work better than the price band up) and they were about £7/£8 :-)

As far as accuracy goes, I use them for baking as well as ebaying and my cakes have always come out perfectly! :-)
