  • They can retract their own bids, if they cannot be bothered you can cancel it. No point in leaving a bid on if they do not want to pay for it

If there is less than 12 hours to run then buyer cannot tetract thir own bids. As GregTheHammer says, just cancel the bid for them, no point in having an unwilling buyer

  • Cancelling bids placed on your listing
    http://offer.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?CancelBidShow
  • i've been asked before and have retracted the bids but as others have stated they can do it themselves but only uptil 12 hrs before auction ends. And don't worry about the fees , you can mutually agree to end transaction with buyer and all fees are refunded. If buyer doesn't agree to end tranasction then they are basically saying they want the item and therefore have to pay for it. so you don't lose out
  • thank you no eye deer for the link
i used it to cancel his bid only for him to message me 2 mins later saying he now doesnt want it canceled

If a buyer refuses a mutual there is no mechanism to get them to pay, so there is a chance seller could lose their fees. Always best to remove bids before it gets that far.
