Sorry me again ! Verified ?!?! Unconfirmed ?!?!

I've had a buyer pay for something worth over £300 via Paypal. His address is showing as 'unconfirmed' and seller protection 'ineligible'. I've asked if I could refund his payment and get him to verify his account then resend payment through so that I'm covered.
He is saying that he IS verified though ?!?! So is he verified ?!?! How can I check ?!? Am I doing the right thing asking him to confirm his address with Paypal, or am I just being over the top ?
Thx

His address stated is a UK business address. He's reply to me was:
i am a verified paypal user.
i have 2 accounts : 1 US, 1 UK. my UK account from which i made the transfer is a verified one.
pls re-check.
So how do I check if he's verified ? And if he is verified, is it ok to send to an unconfirmed address ?!?! I didn't think it was ?!?!?
I don't mean to be mistrustful but I would rather have a safe transaction especially for this amount ! Why can't buyers just play ball :rolleyes:0 -
You don't need to care about verification. Forget verification.
Tell him to confirm his address and re-pay.
I wouldn't mess around with that kind of money. My TV is broken!

My thoughts exactly ! I have asked him quite politely to confirm his address. It's not that difficult is it ?!?!?0 -

Jeez, verified doesn't matter!
That payment is bad news - no confirmed address, no seller protection. Make him sort it out.My TV is broken!

If you were thinking of asking PayPal to confirm that the address is 'confirmed', don't bother - they won't tell you as it's confidential info.
Also don't forget that if you don't send the item within 7 days of the transaction you aren't covered.0 -
