Selling homemade Whey Protein Powder..?

Hi, yeah, erm...i want to try and sell homemade protein powder online.
If i decide to sell it on ebay, is it legal and ok to do?
Do i need certification in terms of hygiene? What rules and regulations would i have to comply with, if any?
Thanks

Well, you certainly have to be careful about any medical claims eg 'boosts muscles' or similar unless you hold rigorous scientific evidence. And you probably need a food handling certificate available from your local council
  • Public & Product Liability will be a must, it may be expensive due to your product type.
