Quote changed by £20 overnight

Can someone please explain how my car insurance quote dropped by £20 from yesterday?
Re-ran a quote through the usual comparison sites, and then on the site I was going to go for, and today the price has dropped.

Makes me glad i'd forgotten my card that i was going to purchase on yesterday so now i can call up today and save!:money:

Theres a little part that wonders if i hang on till tomorrow will it drop more, or be like cheap flights where it suddenly doubles!

Change is inevitable...nothing stays the same forever

  • Insurers review their prices frequently, whilst large pricing changes normally have a lot of governance to go through some allow small tweaks to be made with a lower level of governance now that prices are much more "exposed" via aggregators etc.

If you wait to tomorrow and do the quotes again they may go up or down. As long as you have saved the quote from today it should still be honoured - most insurers when you go though to their site will state how long that price will be honoured for.
