well just spent another 40 minutes of wasted time on the phone to them and actually asked to make a complaint.
Man i spoke to got through to my case worker to be told hes not dealing with it now and its now with claire from ?? collections dept 7(can't remember the exact name) and of course shes not in so he couldn't tell me if or what was going on but likely outcome was another collection assessment (12 weeks or 8 months like last one) so i asked to put a complaint in, so put on endless hold to be told i would be put through to a supervisor and was advised to escalate it.
I told him who told her lol that its been escalated several times so wanted to put a complaint in so she took details of the last few years of farce after farce and then told be that it would probably be rejected
so what classes as a damn complaint?
was told would she would check the progress and contact me on friday, not holding my breath lol
As for contacting my mp I feel that this isn't an urgent enough matter to bother him with as surely he has got better things to do than bother with nrp who won't pay for their children or is that me just being stupid?
Maybe i should just give up and let my ex get away with not paying for his kids!! He can get a damn train and travel 100 miles here to visit his nieces and nephews down the road from me, daughter had to learn this from her cousin at school but can't pay the measly £14 + £3.25(for 11 years) to help with the upbringing of his kids!!0 -

MPs are there to help their constituents. Use him. This is will go and on otherwise.
PLEASE...yep I'm shouting at you...get your MP involved NOW0 -
Well after putting in a complaint i seem to be getting a phone call every few days lol. They've been in touch with his employers and got his earnings details to put a deo in place and today i get a call to tell me that there is going to be a delay as they need to investigate his declared earnings more. Asked if that mean't that he was earning less but she couldn't tell me.
Got it into my head that it means that hes earning less than the £130 he was assessed on or does it mean he is now earning more(took months to get his wage slips with the £130 on) but surely they would say that another assessment had to be made not his declared earnings being investigated, anyone any ideas?0 -

Surely it's because his wages have increased...what man would work for a measly 130pw when he knows he has children to maintain, not to mention himself?
Do you know what kind of job he does or type of company he works at or has he gone self employed to get his assessment even lower to the £5.00pw deadbeat pittance?0 -
Hi all,
Can I ask a question here as i didn't know how to start a new thread.
I'm new to this so please bear with me.
My partner is getting letters from CSA threatening a DEO again like before. Basically he's just started a new job and wishes to go privately as he dosen't want this to go through work. He is willing to provide all official letters of his new employment and salary details but wants the money to come straight from his bank account. He feels it dosen't look good when you have started a new job. I told him theres loads of people who have maintenance at work. Don't know what to tell him.
Thx0 -

His best bet is to phone them, explain that he would prefer to deal direct with the CSA without his employer's involvement. If he tells them roughly what he'll earn they can give him an approximate calculation, and if he offers to set up a direct debit then they may allow it. He can then send in wage slips to confirm the info he gave them.
It depends why the DEO was imposed in the first place, if it was due to non-compliance then they may not allow him to go to a direct debit.0 -
Ok, he's ok paying but will not see his daughter until she's 16 then he will explain all to her with the evidence.(his own words). He just dosen't like the mum and would never be seen with her. When his dad was ill he text her and she said he cant see his daughter. How heartless!
Anyway, he wont phone the csa as he was treated badly last time and they couldn't care less about the father.
He's putting money aside for her meanwhile but he's getting stressed over the letters as they are not very nice.0 -

If he's not willing to phone them then there's probably less chance of them allowing him to come off the DEO.0 -
well finally got good news followed by bad news, just my luck lol
finally they have put a deo on his wages (reducing the time for arrears payment from 11 years to 3) and was told would receive a payment just before christmas and then the really BAD news.
ex got into trouble with the law and did a runner resulting in being arrested at his nephews near me( ex lives 100 miles away) haven't a clue what hes done but guess thats the end of his job. Of course this has nothing to do with the csa but can't help but feel if it hadn't taken them 13 months to get all this sorted this time(not to mention the other years of balls ups) i may have actually got a payment or 2!
Oh well!0 -
Sorry to hear your bad news. Like you say it depends on what he has done and whether he's allowed bail.
What is the exact date in December when you should receive the 1st payment? He should be in receipt of Novembers wage.0
