My husband & I are off to Pontins Brean Sands in October & after looking at TripAdvisor I am now very nervous & a little bit scared of what we are going to find. I went to the prestatyn pontins. It was basic, not very comfy and unclean. But. It was really cheap so we booked it again this year. We will take disinfectant, our own bedding and a camping attitude. Its a great base and at less than £50 for our family, a bargain. We won't do much on site except swim, and we will enjoy ourselves. If it is genuinely inhabitable complain and get it in writing that you have complained while on holiday.
