OK, here's my advice. Don't use Talk Talk broadband! Apart from all the problems such as yours which customers have experienced, I wouldn't use a service provided by a company with no prior experience of running an ISP. It may be "free" but they suck. Cancel and get a decent ISP. Try here: http://www.adslguide.co.uk0

Thank you for the advise, will proceed.
I complained to the non UK call centre, who tried to fob me off with the tale of I could only complain on line. Not so, as a registered Uk company I have Talk Talk Telecom Ltd Reg Office Address.
I presume I must just be unlucky as no other people's have had problems!0 -
Human Fly give them two weeks written notice (recorded delivery) to give you the service they induced you to sign up to. Do not stop paying or cancel and take them to the small claims court as I successfully did. Rgards cullin0

Seriously, just cancel it. We had it and the broadband never even worked. I was ringing everyday talking to a numbskull who had no idea what was wrong, and promised an expert would call me back in 3-4 weeks!!
In the end a bill came through charging me 25 quid for the helpline calls! (of course I refused to pay that)
I have now cancelled the contract and gone back to BT. They let me cancel it no problem as they hadn't provided the customer service they promised! If you want the cancellation phone number just let me know and I'll dig it out. It will be answered by an english call centre so at least you can get your point across easily. Our dream has come true...0 -
And another one just lets them OFF.0
