Finding property boundry

We have recently moved into a house that is at the end of a row of houses. On one side there is a piece of land on the other side of the fence that may partially be ours and partially owned by the management company that has been set up by the residents to ensure that no further development can go ahead.

The deeds that we saw are unclear as to where our boundary is.

We are expected to maintain this piece of land (approx 3m wide) and would obviously prefer to have it within our back garden.

How can we get to scale drawings of the boundary so that we can employ a surveyor to accurately measure the boundaries?
