New to ebay potential non payer

Hi there
Sold something on ebay 8 days ago and this is the longest I have had to wait for someone to pay me. Sent them a reminder invoice after 4 days and another email at weekend to advise if there is a problem but no response. Buyer has a small buying history with 100% successful feedback.
I was thinking about leaving it until tomorrow and then file one of these report a non payment things to ebay. Am I being impatient as I would be grateful for other peoples advice.
Thanks

I would not wait. 8 days is long enough to pay, and you've already contacted them to ask them to pay. I would open the NPB now."So long and thanks for all the fish" :hello:0

i agree with above. Open the NPB. that will either push them to pay or ebay will end transaction, you get fees back and can sell again0

I agree with the above posters. File a NPB case now. Waiting 8 days for payment is far too long.0

I open my NPBs on day 4 and on day 8 when I've closed it would have got my item relisted.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Thanks all to who replied. Can't understand as to why they have so far got a good transaction history. I suppose if it was the other way round and I had taken 8 days to despatch the item I would get negative feedback.
Can someone advise me what's likely to happen after opening one of these NPB claims, e.g can the buyer still buy it ?0 -

During the 4 days the dispute i sopen the buyer can close it by making payment by paypal. If that happens just send it as you would with any other sale, buyer can still leave feedback.
If you get it closed on day 4 after opening then buyer cannot leave you feedback.
I tend to block bidders as soon as I open an NPB regardless of whether they go on to pay or not. About 50% of my disputes are closed by buyer paying, the rest go to close and get relisted.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Thank you Soolin/no eyedear
Just to sum up then when I put in a NPB, the buyer can still pay for the item but I won't get negative feedback. I obviously want to block the buyer from bidding for my items again0 -
If they don't pay, you win the case and they can't leave feedback. If they pay the transaction stays open and they can leave you feedback. They may chose to leave you negative if they are feeling retaliatory for opening a case against them... or if your ongoing performance is not great (i.e. you delay postage etc.) but you could appeal it and might be able to get it removed if you can show it's done maliciously."So long and thanks for all the fish" :hello:0
