Laminate flooring upstairs?

Hi just thinking about putting laminate flooring in an upstairs bedroom would this work in upstairs any views or tips would be great?

The known downside is that it tends to be noisy because there is less to cushion the noise of walking etc upstairs from travelling downstairs. If its in your own house then its less likely to be a problem (unless you have kids that like doing "charge of the light brigade" everywhere or jumping off their beds. Its not a good idea if you are in a flat above someone else as it tends to lead to noise disputes!Adventure before Dementia!0

Just make sure you use good underlay. the green felt stuff for uneven floorboards (comes in squares) is very much more forgiving and sound deadening than the plastic stuff on a a roll.0
