Also pop over to the Debt free Wannabe sub forum and post your SoA (Statement of affairs) , the people there can analyse it and see if you can make savings in your outgoings.
I also second this, they are helpful with debts over on dfw plus there are others currently in same situation or have been there.0 -
Does your spouse not work? If so, with two wages, you should be able to make a do, surely?“In any moment of decision the best thing you can do is the right thing, the next best thing is the wrong thing, and the worst thing you can do is nothing at all.” - Roosevelt0

Can you clarify
You are married and changed your name
You did not tell your creditor of the change of name
You are paying through a debt help plan?
If not, how long is it since you last paid them. It might be worth checking Trustonline to see if they have gained a ccj by default in your old name.
When was the debt taken out?
Don't stress0 -
I've been on the phone to CCCS about my debt plan and my creditors, after much talking, We have been able to do manageable payments!!!
I have updated all my details correctly and declared everything, and with me cancelling my Sky Sub which was £20, and getting a cheaper car insurance rate, I'm now able to pay back the debt ok, and have enough money to buy food with without struggling.
I want to thank everyone who has helped me today, I was scared and panicking about my bills, but now its been sorted and I feel less stressed and better.
If I could personally thank the people who advised me, I would!! I really really from the bottom of my heart appreciate the comments!!
thank you!!
