white landscape in game; unsure what to tweak

Hiya :-)
Trying to play Tiny Troopers for pc ... all of the ground is white ...can't see pathway etc, lol.
Running quadcore Dell 66s with 4 ram and nvidia GT620, which for some reason won't update to latest driver, despite me pointing pc at that ... says is up to date; weird. Surfed and saw nividia inspector software suggested for tweaking, but I know nil about what to tweak, lol.
Would really appreciate any advice.
