Natwest loan ppi

Hello i am trying to recliam ppi on some natwest loans which i had between 1999 and 2003, i don`t have the original agreements but i do have my bank statements which all i can see on the statements is personal loan and personal loan interest (is that ppi ??). I have sent a sar letter and only received statements going back to 2002 but no loan account numbers and again the statements only saying personal loan. can anyone suggest please what my next step would be.:o Thank you

Personal loan interest is interest. PPI is Payment Protection Insurance.
The two are not similar in any way.
From what you say, you don't have PPI and are wasting your time (and money) with SAR letters etc.

Thank you for your reply i had another look through the statements and found PLP premium on my 1999 and 2001 natwest loans, can i send copy of these statements with the compliant form as i can`t find any loan acc numbers ??

There would be no harm doing this, they may knock you back as they won't show what the PPI total was and if you paid the whole amount to term end though but you won't know until you try.
