  • Yes, definitely rude not to. Plus its friday, which is definitely weekend territory. Good luck with award speech, its so scary public speaking. Im sure youll be great.

Am really struggling with weight, and bought a swim suit off ebay as need one for spa thingy, however dont want to spend much as obviously will lose so much weight by not drinking mid week that it will be way to big to wear again.... Also bought a skirt for christmas do for same reason:o.

Right me and Dan brown are going to bed.....

Dont forget to drink your tea. Have left yours on the table.

    Night NP.

    MORNING:D

I am up bright and breezy today, and have already done TWO chores...dishwasher and TD (although TD isn't really a chore as it's all shiny and new and fun).

I'm away to take pooch out, have shower, then go to work surrounded by woodland creatures a la Snow White / Doris Day and all because the lady loves her TD:D

We don't own a tumble drier, but I have to say I really enjoy emptying the lint trap at Mrs E's parents! :D I think it's my inner 10 year old boy being fascinated with 'gross' things, things falling to pieces and all things mechanical...

I havent got one either. My washing gets draped all over every radiator in the house. Do you like unblocking sinks too Ed? Is it a boy thing??

Its lovely having new shiny things, I remember years ago (pre kids) buying really gorgeous pine furniture for our bedroom. For weeks Id just sit and look at it.... Enjoy your woodland walk NP.

Im on an office day (day job) followed by a twilight (2nd job) so working 9am-10pm today. So can't drop DD3 off at breakfast club as this would take me over ETWD, so sitting eating a leisurely porridge. Extra choc bar in teatime pack up always hit a low about 8ish.
Have 2 parcels to go but daren't ask DH as he had to go out last night (work) and didnt get in till very late then out by 7am, he'll be home for 4.45pm and need to leave 5pm for music lessons (and eat something as then not back till 8) as im at work, so MIGHT be pushing luck to ask him to stop at post office. My mums fetching DD3 from school and wait till DH home and DD1 will pop batch cooked food in oven when she gets in. Its always a military operation. Wednesdays are only fractionally better but with swimming.

My DD2 walls look lovely this morning. Shame can't gloss today!
Also have done no studying for 2 weeks so will need to fit that in somewhere. Girls at music festival Saturday, week after DD2 birthday (with sleep over party), week after another music performance, then we hit the christmas performances, think have another parents evening as well....

Often wonder what did I do with my time pre kids? and why do i now work full time? Why did I decide to do this course? Saying that, I much prefer busy busy busy. My job share reckons if I stopped I'd drop dead!

Been to auction, i bought nada. Oh well, can try again another week.
    Posted my parcels.

Bedroom half done, just finishing my soup then will finish.
24 items left on ebay but only 1 watcher and no bids so suspect wont be giving up day job just yet. Got £10 on tcb for referring mate (who is already over £10 so very pleased I showed her the way..) also showed someone else last night and now have another signup.

Well done for adpoints, haven't done any yet :o

Was it a house auction? I've never been to one!
  • No, was furniture. Quite interesting experience, 4th time Ive been and worth (usually) doing. Theres always loads of dealers there so must be ok!
Got chatting to one once and they'd driven up night before in their van.
Our builders told us about it and thought would give a go, have on prev visits bought settee, chairs, dressing table stool. BF bought settee.
