Trimming and resealing of the internal and external sealant of 2 windows!?

Hi all,

I am not good at height and have asked a local glzing company a price to trim and reseal the internal and external of 2 windows. Does anyone have any idea how much is a fair price for this?

I wish I could do it myself just wont be able too, I have been quoted £120? Any ideas?

It's a handyman type job. £50-£60 tops.

You certainly dont need a DGcompany to do it.

Thats probably 2 hours at £50-60 per hour

Depends on how high up the windows are on the outside (if external access is needed).

Also, the job must be a good one else you'll be in a worse situation then before.

Personally I would pay the £120 if it came with a guarantee from the firm (opposed to a handyman, weather ingress, advanced/notifiable electrics and gas are the stuff I leave to the pros (plumbing I can just about do)) but only you can decide if its fair or not.
