Hiya
I have been with atlantic electricity for a long time now and on a prepayment meter since end of 2008. I am considering switching to a fixed rate with another company as the prices atlantic are upping by is going to make a big difference. My question is will I receive a bill from atlantic? I spoke to them today and they said I contact new company who contacts them and sorts the changeover, she never mentioned anything about me being billed but I actually also forgot to ask!!!

Yes, you contact the new supplier and they start the change of supplier process. Once this has been completed and the change of supplier reading agreed Atlantic should send a final bill/statement which will normally be for £0 assuming you meter has kept up to date with any tariff changes.IT Consultant in the utilities industry specialising in the retail electricity market.

Yes we are up to date as I believe the change of tariff gets updated via the key.July 2013 wins: Lilac Skoot, Night out for 2 at Nandos & Cineworld
